GT Radials
GT Gajah Tunggal started its tyre manufacturing in 1951 with the production of bicycle tyres. The years that followed saw them take great strides into diversifying their product range. By 1971 they were producing motorcycle tyres and by 1981 they were had taken a place in the commercial vehicle tyre market. Their hard work and determination over the years to expand the company has today paid off, as currently they are the largest integrated tyre producer in South-East Asia.
In 2004, Gajah Tunggal and Michelin signed business cooperation agreements that focused on the production of passenger car tyres for Michelin markets set outside of Indonesia. With this agreement Michelin also acquired 10% of Gajah Tunggal's equity.
