Changing Fiat Tyres
Changing Fiat Car Tyresshould require 3 primary choices:
* The overall quality of the tyre (durability, wear, ratings, cost) desired for the Fiat
* The speed rating that the Fiat Tyres should have depending upon the driver's average and occasional "fastest-driven" speed
* Deciding if local and/or regional weather patterns merit keeping two sets of tyres for dry vs. wet road conditions
Further, if an owner wishes to put tyres on different sized wheels for the Fiat, a careful decision about what size tyres will be valid for that Fiat is required. If, for example, a larger wheel size is desired, then the profile (height) and/or the width must be reduced to avoid damaging the drive train. A 195/65/15 tyre for that Fiat, for instance, on a 17" rim, could legitimately become a 165/65 (narrower) or a 195/55 (shorter) but could not stay a 195/65 as before.

Fiat Punto – Tyre Option, 185/60 14 , Pirelli 6000
The Fiat punto is an excellent small family car that provides lashings of space at an affordable price. The vehicle is a town car and as such the tyres are designed to provide a smooth ride with little road noise. Alternative tyres for this car are the Continental Eco Contact or the Dunlop SP2000. These tyres are designed to make driving a smooth effortless affair, yet still offer high levels of grip when required.
Fiat Panda – Tyre Option, 155/80 13, Goodyear GT2
This city runabout has benefited greatly from its recent face lift. Its main purpose is still however to move within a city or town environment and as such the tyres play a large part in setting the quality of the ride. Alternatives for this car could be the Continental Eco Contact 3 or the Pirelli P3000. These tyres will provide the right balance between ride quality and grip levels for the smaller vehicle.
