How do I know what my tyre size is?
It’s easier than you may think. Printed on the side of your tyre you will find a series of numbers. They will look something like this 205/55 R16 88W. If you are still unsure, check out our size guide or call our Midlands based call centre on 0800 622 6084 and they will guide you through the process.
Are your prices on the website all inclusive?
Yes absolutely! All prices listed on our website are inclusive either fully fitted or delivered direct to your door. When collecting other quotes from other companies also watch out for hidden costs. There are no nasty hidden surprises with any of our prices…THIS WE PROMISE
I found a cheaper price for my tyres will you try and beat it?
We offer a price promise so if you find the same tyre cheaper from a garage/online retailer WE WILL TRY OUR BEST TO BEAT IT.
How can you beat it?
Garages/online retailers all buy there tyres from the same people its just a question of price mark up. Our operating costs are very low so we do not need to make thousands of pounds to keep fitting bays open. We use mobile fitting units which are a lot cheaper to run. Giving the customer the best possible price.
What happens after I place my order?
Once your order has been placed on our website or via our call centre, you will receive an e-mail confirming receipt of your order and payment. We will then confirm the fitting appointment/delivery date within 4 hours.
When will my tyres be delivered?
We aim to deliver all tyres ordered before 13:00 the next working day to mainland UK.
Can I mix different brands of tyres on my car?
Yes you can mix different brands and tread patterns on your car as long as they match the same size specification of your existing tyres found on the sidewall.
What is the difference between budget, Mid-range and Premium Tyres?
Have you ever heard that saying 'you get what you pay for'? With the premium brands you are not just paying for name you are also investing in the millions of pounds worth of research and development these brands undertake. As a result of this you do get a better performing, more advanced and longer lasting tyre. However it is worth mentioning mid range tyres which are developed by the leading manufacturers using the same technology but with brand names you may not be so familiar with. These tyres are priced below the premium branded tyres but above the budget range and offer exceptional value for money. Some of the brands to look for are Roadstone, Kumho, Firestone, Toyo, Falken and Yokohama. As for budget tyres they will not offer the same level of high performance as our premium brands but they are still good quality and at affordable prices are well suited to low mileage urban drivers or motorists on a budget. We try an supply the right tyre for you and your needs. Unsure then give us a call 0800 622 6084
Why should I buy my new tyres from Tyre Shop?
At the Tyre Shop we believe the most important two things about buying tyres are the Price and the Service you receive. We as a company pride ourselves on both. So why not save a load of money and get your tyres fitted by one of our mobile units or just get the tyres delivered to your front door.
How do I know my tyres are illegal and need changed?
Most tyres have a tread wear indicator at intervals around the tyre that are set at 2mm the UK law states that your tyres must have a minimum tread depth of 1.6mm across the centre three quarters of the tyre. If you can see that these little bars are level with the tread then its time for change.
What shall i do if i have changed my mind after my tyres have been delivered?
As long as the tyres have not been fitted to a vehicle and are in still new condition we will give you a full refund. If you return them within 7 days.
