Changing Chrysler Tyres

Changing Chrysler Car Tyres should require 3 primary choices:

* The overall quality of the tyre (durability, wear, ratings, cost) desired for the Chrysler

* The speed rating that the Chrysler Tyres should have depending upon the driver's average and occasional "fastest-driven" speed

* Deciding if local and/or regional weather patterns merit keeping two sets of tyres for dry vs. wet road conditions

Further, if an owner wishes to put tyres on different sized wheels for the Chrysler, a careful decision about what size tyres will be valid for that Chrysler is required. If, for example, a larger wheel size is desired, then the profile (height) and/or the width must be reduced to avoid damaging the drive train. A 195/65/15 tyre for that Chrysler, for instance, on a 17" rim, could legitimately become a 165/65 (narrower) or a 195/55 (shorter) but could not stay a 195/65 as before

Chrysler Crossfire – Tyre Options 255/35 19Z Continental Sport Contact 2 (rear option)

Chrysler Crossfire is based on the Mercedes SLK so should provide a good driving experience. Its distinctive looks give it an advantage in a competitive market segment, competing against the Mazda RX8 and the Nissan 370Z. The quality of manufacturing invested in the Crossfire is good but the running costs are high. The tyres provide excellent levels of grip in both the wet and dry to make the best use of the gutsy V6 engine. An option for this vehicle would be the Pirelli P Zero Rosso or a Yokohama AVS Sport.

Chrysler PT Cruiser - Tyre Options 205/55 16 H, Goodyear NCT5

This PT cruiser is the MPV to drive if you wish to remain an individual. It is spacious and well equipped but only seats 5 compared to some of its riv als that seat up to 7. The diesel option is excellent, and like most modern cars feels like a petrol underfoot. It performs adequately in the NCAP crash test receiving 3 stars in its last test. The tyres for this car should enhance the driving experience providing a comfortable ride without compromising on grip. The Pirelli P6000 tyre would be a good option as would the Michelin Pilot Primacy tyre.

Chrysler Voyager - Tyre Options 215/65 16 H, Goodyear NCT5

This voyager is more people carrier than MPV. Excellent storage space and plenty of room for all the occupants. The seats are heavy which impacts slightly on the versatility of the vehicle. The Chrysler Voyager could score better on the NCAP tests with a score of only 2 stars being received at the last test. As this is a family orientated vehicle then comfort and smoothness of drive is the underlying concern. The weight of the vehicle limits the number of options available when choosing your tyres. A Michelin Primacy extra load is the premium option, a good budget option would be the Khumo Ecsta.
